Boston has always been the economic and cultural hub of New England and that is unlikely to change any time in the near future. Boston has a world class symphony orchestra, Broadway plays, a list of museums that could be stacked against any in the nation, and more world champion sports teams than any city has a right to. In the past few years the success of the Patriots, Red Sox, and Celtics has made Boston the sports capitol of the country. Boston is known as a college town and with schools like Boston College, MIT and Harvard it is easy to understand why.

Boston’s legal community is as diverse as any in the country. Many of the nation’s most prominent law firms are headquartered or have offices in Boston. The areas of law that are always in demand in Boston are; intellectual property, litigation, corporate, real estate and banking. In particular, the technology and biotech practices are quite impressive, and include quite a bit of venture capital work for the east coast. Whatever firm you choose to make your name at you can rest assure you will be in the midst of the best ‘Big Law’ has to offer.

The museums in Boston are second to none. The Museum of Science hosts all of the important traveling exhibits, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts consistently showcases artwork from the most celebrated artists in history and the Boston Symphony Orchestra is widely considered one of the best in the nation. If Broadway shows are your thing then be sure to stop by the Colonial theater which hosts some of the hottest shows in the country.
