Chicago is a beautiful city that has an amazing skyline. The skyline is dominated by the Sears Tower, the John Hancock Building and the Amoco Building which are three of the tallest buildings in the world. In and around these magnificent buildings are several prestigious international and local law firms. These firms may be the reason you are attracted to Chicago, but the city itself is why you are going to want to stay. Your first impression of Chicago will likely be O’Hare International Airport which is one of the biggest airports in the country. O’Hare is one of the few large airports in the country that is centrally located so getting to your destination is as simple as walking outside and hailing a cab or getting on the world famous “L” which is the elevated subway system that runs throughout the city.

Chicago is truly the business center of the mid-west and several large corporations call it home including; McDonalds, Sears, Boeing, Kraft, Allstate, and Motorola. As you can imagine most of these companies are more comfortable hiring a ‘Big Law’ firm to represent them which means lots of interesting deals and cases, and great business connections, for those lucky enough to work for those firms. The main industries in Chicago are healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, finance, and professional services. Since there are so many booming businesses in Chicago there are many areas of law that are in high demand.

The social elite in Chicago enjoy the more than fifty museums and two-hundred theaters Chicago has to offer. For a more relaxed evening there are literally hundreds of bars and clubs that offer an entertaining night out on the town. Jazz earned its name in Chicago and there are many authentic jazz clubs which offer some of the best live music that can be hear anywhere in the country. Make sure to visit Buddy Guy’s for an amazing night of jazz and blues music.
